Want to learn about CrossFit, but aren't sure you want to become a trainer? This 1-day in-person course was designed for you. If you later decide to attend the L1, the full Fundamentals fee will be deducted from the price.

CrossFit’s one-day in-person Fundamentals course is designed to provide an overview of the foundational methodology and movements of CrossFit.

It is available to individuals who are brand-new to CrossFit all the way up to anyone who has been doing CrossFit for years. Participants will spend the day with CrossFit Seminar Staff trainers learning:

  • An introduction to the CrossFit methodology.
  • An introduction to foundational and common movements in CrossFit.
  • CrossFit’s essential nutrition guidance.

The Fundamentals course is ideal for anyone who has been considering taking the Level 1 in order to deepen their understanding of CrossFit, but aren’t interested in coaching others. If you’re later inspired to become a CrossFit trainer, the entire cost of this course will be deducted from your Level 1.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

Each small-group session features immediate feedback, aiming to hone the technique of every participant.

INSTRUCTION

In-depth practical sessions on foundational and common CrossFit movements and lectures on the CrossFit methodology, basic nutrition, and practical application form a comprehensive curriculum and balanced course format.

WORKOUT

The course concludes with a group workout that can be scaled to the abilities of all athletes regardless of their skill set.
